BCG has long been a pioneer of LGBT equality in the workplace, having adopted domestic-partner benefits in the United States in 1994.
In 1997, the first official LGBT organization at BCG was founded. In 2003, as membership continued to expand, we established an annual meeting during which members across the globe could come together for a weekend of working sessions.
We have received a perfect 100 percent rating for the seventh year in a row from the Human Rights Campaign on its Corporate Equality Index, which measures workplace equality for LGBT employees. And in 2011, we received the coveted HRC Workplace Innovation award for our "holistic approach to career development and affiliation" for LGBT employees.
BCG has been a true pioneer for LGBT rights in the workplace.
