Welcome to BCG's LGBT Network!

We're excited to share what it's like to be LGBT at BCG and why we think BCG is a terrific place to grow further.

At BCG, we're passionate about diversity. We recognize that outstanding people come from all walks of life, and we believe that diversity creates a stronger, more dynamic team environment and provides unique perspectives and opportunities for our clients and staff.

Our LGBT Network is global, growing, and truly thriving—here are some quick facts:

  • Our members represent all BCG's geographic regions, and work in a variety of industries and functional topics
  • Our membership has nearly quadrupled in the past five years.
  • Our efforts to forge the frontier of workplace equality for LGBT employees have earned us a perfect 100 percent rating for seven consecutive years from the Human Rights Campaign on its Corporate Equality Index.
  • In 2011, we also received the coveted HRC Workplace Innovation award for our "holistic approach to career development and affiliation" for LGBT employees.

If you would like to learn more or have questions, feel free to contact any of the recruiting captains listed or e-mail us at lgbtnetwork@bcg.com.

History

BCG has long been a pioneer of LGBT equality in the workplace, having adopted domestic-partner benefits in the United States in 1994.

In 1997, the first official LGBT organization at BCG was founded. In 2003, as membership continued to expand, we established an annual meeting during which members across the globe could come together for a weekend of working sessions.

We have received a perfect 100 percent rating for the seventh year in a row from the Human Rights Campaign on its Corporate Equality Index, which measures workplace equality for LGBT employees.  And in 2011, we received the coveted HRC Workplace Innovation award for our "holistic approach to career development and affiliation" for LGBT employees.

BCG has been a true pioneer for LGBT rights in the workplace.
